I’m Perry Olson, founder and President of ABA Today, and a proud mother to four young men.​ Two of my sons were diagnosed with moderate to severe autism at a very young age. Like many families, my husband and I faced uncertainty, fear, and difficult decisions. We were fortunate to access early, intensive ABA therapy, and we saw firsthand how powerful compassionate, evidence-based care can be.

At the time, ABA therapy was rarely covered by insurance. We paid out of pocket, making significant financial sacrifices because we believed in what the research, and our children, were showing us. Over time, we watched our sons grow, connect, and reach milestones that once felt out of reach.
That experience changed the course of my life.
I left my career in federal law enforcement, earned my Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, and founded ABA Today to create the kind of place I once searched for: one that is ethical, family-centered, clinically rigorous, and deeply human.

In starting ABA Today, I wanted to create the kind of place I needed back then: compassionate, evidence-based, and led by people who genuinely understand this journey. My hope is that every family who walks through our doors feels understood, supported, and never alone. I am determined to help families and children to reach their fullest potential in life. That may simply be the words, Mommy and Daddy, that those of us with children with autism so cherish.

Our 10,000 square ft Reston center offers structured therapy rooms, a library, a gym, a game room, and spaces designed specifically to support children’s growth and happiness.

Therapy + Education, Working Together
Through our partnership with ETC Phoenix School, children can receive ABA therapy and individualized K–8 academics: a collaborative and innovative model that allows children to receive ABA services and education, together.

Highly Trained & Supported Staff
Strong mentorship, ongoing BCBA supervision, and a supportive culture allow us to maintain excellent staff retention, as well as clinical consistency for the betterment of our patients' ABA journeys.
